Violet's sword hadn't taken the smuggler's head of as she'd expected but she didn't let the disappointment slow her down as she threw up her hand and launched a dart at him point blank

Volar felt himself bleed. He was badly wounded, and would not last much longer under the current fighting conditions. Seeing a familiar flick of the hand by his opponent, Volar attempted to escape it's path and moved in to make another desperate attempt to take her down with his vibroblade.
