Volar Odias VS Jax Nova - Smuggler VS Smuggler

The enormous lights illuminating the massive GTC arena suddenly dimmed down to the low glow, bathing the stadium in darkness, shadows flickering in all directions. The spectators, previously conversing to one another in one loud indecipherable torrent of noise, hushed immediately, the effect of more than a thousand voices suddenly quietening creating an eerie atmosphere.

A spotlight beamed down out of nowhere onto the podium in the centre of the northern stands of the arena. Commander Typho Raame, Comitatus Vigo of the Galactic Trade Commission, stepped forward, fully glad in his combat armour, helmet secured in place, its eye slits glowing red. His voice, enhanced by not only his audio feeds, but also the incredibly powerful microphones around him, rang out, deep, gravely and distorted due to the helmet's mic, adding a mechanical, almost droid-like tinge to it.

"Ladies and gentlemen, lifeforms and... things... this night, the Arena will be stained with the blood of Smugglers. We have a cataclysmic battle for you. Two Smugglers, two deadly Gunslingers who have had more than their fair share of violence in their past, are ready to use all of their skill, agility, charm... well, perhaps not charm, and incredibly accurate firepower in the hope that it is he who is victorious."

"I present to you now... each man taking up his position in other corner of the Arena... THE BATTLE OF THE SMUGGLERS! GUNSLINGER JAX NOVA VERSUS GUNSLINGER VOLAR ODIAS! LET THE BLOODY CARNAGE... COMMENCE!!!"

Jax Nova strutted into the arena, head held high. He patted the twin blasters by his side as he walked. They had saved his butt on countless occasions and was sure they would ensure his victory now. Standing in the middle of the arena, waving to the spectators, he awaited his adversary with a sly grin on his face.

Volar found himself strolling into the arena. Opposite him was his fellow smuggler Jax Nova, a good man who he had worked with on many contracts. He never thought he would find himself on the sharp end of the man.

Volar patted the blaster pistol on his side, then reached back for the vibroblade he kept loosely sheathed on his back. He felt he was prepared for any situation. He smiled and nodded at his fellow Smuggler, then raised his head and hand to the crowd in a manner of appeasement.

Raame looked at Odias, then at Nova. Two Smuggler. Too many pistols to count. Lots of groin kicking. This fight would be interesting.

"It seems that Odias is the luckier Smuggler tonight. He shall taste first blood. LET THE FIGHT... BEGIN!!!"

Not wanting to give his opponent the opportunity to make a first move, Volar raised his blaster and fired off multiple shots.

As Volar began wildly firing his blasters, Jax pulled out his own and returned fire with a more precise shot at Volar's chest.

Jax had been taken aback by the barrage from Volar, and decided to take the fight up a notch. He unleashed a full on rocket attack.

Triple Rocket: Smuggler fires three small rockets at opponent, causing huge damage to the opponent, leaving him bruised and bloody.

Watching Jax, he could tell what was coming next, and, with a grin on his face, responded accordingly.

The rockets had barely left his attatchement when Volar sprang out from behind the dust and fired his blaster at Jax once again

Jax was hit hard by Volars rocket, but quickly sprung back up to his feet and returned fire.

Barrage: Smuggler lets loose a huge volley of blaster fire against the opponent.

Volar flinched, the dust and smoke was stinging his eyes, and he was not sure if his last shot even made contact with his opponent. Suddendly, through the smoke came a barrage of blaster shots which knocked him off his feet. Examining his chest armor, he could hear the sizzling of where the shots had hit him.

Volar picked himself up once again and set his blaster to 'stun'. He then took aim and fired at his opponent

(using ability 'Groin Kick')

Even as Jax saw Volar fire at him, he reacted quickly by returning fire with a precise shot.

Seizing the momentum gained from his stun attack, Volar switched his blaster back to normal settings and let off another barrage of shots.

Jax could only watch, paralyzed by Volars stun shot, as Volar unleashed a barrage of shots on him.

Trying to make up for lost momentum, Volar unleashed another set of rockets on his opponent

(Using Ability: Triple rocket)

As Jax came round from the stun shot Volar gave him, he saw his fellow smuggler launching another round of rocket fire. 'I think I should return the favour, the good old fasioned way' he thought, as he launched himself forward, unconcerned with the rockets fired to deliver his right foot where it really hurt....

Groin Kick: Smuggler aims a vicious kick at opponent’s groin, causing them a large amount of pain and to be stunned for a single turn.

Caught off guard in the offense, Volar was not expecting the 'Smugglers Kiss' and found himself writhing in pain on the floor.

Jax brushed himself off from the rocket strikes. He looked down at Volar, who was now writhing in pain on the floor. He prepped his launcher and unleashed a rocket attack of his own. "Lets see hopw you like it"
