The hunt for Dralynn Monzth [Closed RP]

Tal'nar and Typho started walking around the cantina searching for Monzth, with all bodyguards looking at them, but not doing anything.

"Seems you scared them." Tal'nar laughed.

The Bounty Hunters found a room with another couple of bodyguards. This time, they wouldn't let them through. And the guards were more heavily armored and armed.

They both figured this would be the room that Dralynn is setting his deal.

Typho didn't bother trying to reason or argue with the guards. He flipped out of one the blaster pistols, and opened fire at the guard on the right. The guard's heavy armour managed to deflect most of the blasts, but one caught him n the upper arm, making him fall to his knees, and clasp it with his other hand. Typho lashed out his foot, and kicked the guard hard in the face.
The man fell flat on it back, while Typho aimed his pistol at the man's head. He fired two shots into the guard. One in the throat, the other right between his eyes. Typho sneered at the dead man, and watched Tal'nar take out the other one.

As the armor deflected the blaster shots from Tal'nar, he used his wristknife and stabbed the guard right into his face.

This fight cought the attention from Dralynn.

"Hey what's all this noise! I'm trying to work here! " he said.

Typho looked at Dralynn. The man wasn't particularly large or muscular. He was around 175cm tall, and went to about the shoulder of Typho. He had a fair complexion and was completely bald, with a long dark scar running over his mouth. Typho inclined his head slightly at the man.
"So you're Dralynn Monzth. We've been looking for you. Seems that you used to have an employee called Socran Divrul. We had a little chat with him."

"Seemed to have? What do you mean by that?" he asked.

"Well, he can't smuggle anymore. In fact, he can't do anything anymore. He's dead."

"You killed one of my best employees? You're going to pay for this!"

Typho shook his head and made a sound distaste. "You know, I uh... Don't... I don't think we are, actually. When we take on a Bounty, we don't like leaving up loose ends. But, enough of this. You don't need to know the details. We've come here to do business, and we mean it."
Typho lifted his Sfor Republic Carbine off his back and aimed it at Dralynn's head. The criminal seemed to look behind Typho and Tal'nar for a moment, then his gazed popped back at them. Typho turned his head slightly to see why Monzth had looked back there. Suddenly, he was hit in the back by one of the bodyguards.
Typho tried to shoot Dralynn, but the shot went wide. He dropped the Carbine, pulled out his Vibrosword, and attacked the guards.

The guard had hit Typho. Tal'nar could help his friend or go after Dralynn. He decided to help Typho first.
"We can go after him after this." he thought.

He pulled out his wrist-knife and attacked the other guard.

When the fight was done, they noticed Dralyyn running out of the cantina.

Typho snarled and picked up his Carbine. He slung both the Vibrosword and Carbine on his back, and began running towards the Cantina exit. "Don't let him get away!"
The two Bounty Hunters quickly left the Cantina and hurried after Dralynn. The smaller man was incredibly athletic and fast, and managed to maintain a steady pace, heading towards the elevator.
Typho fired a few shots at Dralynn, but they all missed. The crime lord entered the elevator and the machine started going upwards.

Both the Bounty Hunters ignited their jetpacks.
The jetpack was slightly faster then the elevator so they managed to keep up.
They reached the elevator and Tal'nar placed a detonationpack on it.
They slowed a bit down, and Tal'nar let the pack blow a hole into the elevator.

They both flew through it.

The two men deactivated their jetpacks and ran out of the elevator. In the huge crowd, they could see the figure of Dralynn running through everyone. Typho and Tal'nar quickly ignited their jetpacks again and flew overhead. Typho looked over at Tal'nar and called out to him.
"We can't hope to hit him without killing civilians. I don't want the whole Taris Security Force on us, so we'll have to wait and follow him to see where he heads."
In the distance, they could just see the outline of the Landing Pads.

"That ship must be where he's heading to. We can't make it there on time. We'll need to go to our ship and follow him." Tal'nar suggested.

They changed direction and went to their docking bay, and got into the ship.

"We have to be quick if we want to keep his trace"

Tal'nar quickly started the ship and managed to see Dralynn take off.

"This could be interesting."

Typho laid his weapons down and took a position in the gunner's seat. He grabbed the controls and put his sight of the enemy ship. The ship was slowly getting out of their site. Typho looked at Tal'nar.
"Punch it, Tal'nar. We gotta keep him in our sites. Just get me close enough, and I'll do the big shooting."

"Hold on mate." Tal'nar said while he ignited the booster.

They came closer to Dralynn's vessel, almost in firing range.
While Typho was seated in a gunner's position, Tal'nar could still fire some rockets from the cockpit.

"Is he almost in firing range?" He asked at Typho.

Typho quickly scanned the targeting computer.
"About... 100 metres. Get as close as you can, we've nearly got him."
Suddenly an alarm beeped above them. Typho's eyes flicked up, then back at the targeting computer. Three more dots appeared on the screen.
"We've got three enemy fighters coming in. Seems to be the remainder of Monzth's bodyguards. I'll try keep them off our back."
Typho switched targets onto the other fighters and opened fire at them.

Tal'nar kept manoeuvring between the enemy fighters, to get closer to Dralynn himself.
Typho shot 1 fighter, his engine was destroyed and it was crashing to the surface.

"Good shot!"

With only 2 fighters remaining, the ship now came in attack range for Dralynn's ship too.

"You take out Monzth! I'll get rid of these bastards!"
Typho let through a burst of laser cannon fire, switching between the two remaining fighters. One of the shots managed to clip a wing of one and it spun out of control. Typho grinned savagely for a moment. The grin dropped from his face as the fighter regained control and flew straight at them.
With a roar, Typho gave it everything it had, laser blasts smashing into it and annihilating the pilot and ship.

Tal'nar fired 2 proton torpedoes at Dralynn's ship. He managed to evade them.
Tal'nar fired another couple of proton torpedoes with one hitting the ship of Dralynn.
Though Dralynn was still fighting. It was going to take more then some torpedoes to take the ship down with it's heavy plating.

Typho locked onto the last escort fighter, and peppered the ship with laser fire. The pilot was good and managed to evade many shots, but Typho's barrage of laser fire and rockets proved too much for the ship, and it soon exploded into a thousand fragments.
Typho let out a sigh of satisfaction and swung around his aim to Dralynn's ship.
"Let's finish him, Tal'nar. Give him everything you got!"
Typho let loose his firepower.

There were 6 proton torpedoes left. Tal'nar fired them all at once, in attempt to disable the ship or completely destroy it.
The ships were already into space, the proton torpedoes destroyed the engine.

Tal'nar flew around the ship, facing cockpit to cockpit.

"Kill him Typho!" Tal'nar shouted.

Typho made a sound that was in between a snarl and a grunt, and pressed down on the trigger mechanism. The ships' laser batteries and torpedo launchers roared into life once again and pummelled Dralynn's immobilised craft. One of the torpedoes smashed into the ship's left wing and blew it out of space. The concentrated fire of the torpedoes and laser cannons soon made short work of the durasteel armoured casing and it exploded, creating a huge ball of fire.
Typho watched it for a few moments, then nodded approvingly.

The hunt was finally finished.

"That's that then. Let's go back to the Weeping Wookie Cantina".

Tal'nar punched in the hyperspace coordinates and Typho got back into the co-pilot's seat.

Few seconds later the ship entered hyperspace...
