Vigo Kelhur VS Lidia (Zerstoren) - Smuggler VS Bounty Hunter

The GTC Arena was engulfed in darkness. There was no need for pretence now. Yet another Bounty Hunter from the Galactic Trade Commission had believed that they were able to take on Chief Kelhur, Vigo of the Avaritia Consortium, and come out in one piece. The last who tried was shown what happens to those who cross Davan Kelhur. It was not a pretty sight. Yet, Bounty Hunters never knew the meaning of "stop" or "enough". They would keep coming until either their target was dead, or they were.

Commander Raame, Comitatus Vigo of the Galactic Trade Commission, slowly strode towards the centre podium of the arena, his heavy combat armour clinking and rattling as the armour components constantly knocked against one another, his hard steel tipped boots clanking along the durasteel surface of the arena. Raame's voice, enhanced by not only his audio feeds, but also the incredibly powerful microphones around him, rang out to the crowd, deep, gravely and distorted due to the helmet's mic, adding a mechanical, almost droid-like tinge to it.

"Well, well, well, aren't you bastards all lucky? We've got yet another damn battle for you to feast your eyes upon. But it gets better! Last time he was here, we witnessed Chief Kelhur annihilate the Bounty Hunter, Davik Kirakh, in an amazing display of quick trigger fingers, accuracy, and sly Smuggler tactics. Well, it seems that the Bounty Hunters haven't learnt to stay away. Another one, a female who goes by the name of Lidia, has challenged Vigo Kelhur in what is bound to be a terrifically violent and enjoyable battle to watch. Can this Bounty Hunter take on the most dangerous Smuggler in all of Hutt Space, if not the Outer Rim Territories, and come out victorious, or will this be another bloody battle of ass kicking by the one and only... AVARITIA VIGO DAVAN KELHUR! LIGHT THIS STADIUM UP!!!"

Stepping into the dimly lit arena, Lidia looked across the field in hopes of making her opponent out in the darkness. As the announcer began speaking, she could feel the excitement in the air as he announced her opponent. As the lights flickered on, the arena was drowned in bright lights that left little to no shadows and revealed the enormity of the crowd. A roar filled the air as the people came to life and began shouting and cheering as the fight was about to begin.

Her helmet tucked under her arm she proceeded to dawn it and rest her hands on her hips. Waiting anxiously for the announcer to begin the fight she began to fiddle with the grip of one of her blasters.

Davan Kelhur waited at his starting point, though he didn't fight often he truely enjoyed being in the centre of the arena. He had heard of a new recruit in the GTC, a bounty hunter and was eager to find out about all the talk he had heard therefore he had set up this fight.

If the bounty hunter could beat him in the arena they would earn his instant respected and possibly some profitable jobs from Davan in future. He watched as his oppoent readied herself for the fight, he was ready himself with his usual lightweight armour that covered chest, back and shoulders and his greaves on his legs. The rest of him was protected by heavy padding so he could still be agile. Finishing off the look were his two blasters. The fight was about to begin.

The Commander looked at the outcome, and nodded his head approvingly. He had thought it would turn out this way.

"Once again, the Chief's seemingly endless supply of luck has come to his aid. He will strike first, and wreak havoc as he always has. LET THE FIGHT BEGIN!!!!!"

Davan smiled to himself as the announcment was made that the fight had begun. He had already decided what would be his first move before hand and believe the best way to stop his foe was to keep her as far away from him as he could. He had a simple solution for doing that.

Davan remained routed to the spot, grabbing one of his blasters from the right hand holster. Only as it became level and aimed at the bounty hunter did the attachment become visible. It was an attachment that carried three missiles at a time, this time around Davan had pre-loaded them, even though there were still plenty of spares on his belt. With a push of a button then pulling on the trigger three streams of smoke flew out of his blaster, one after the other.

Ability used: Triple rocket

As the rockets streamed towards Lidia she only had a split second to attempt to dodge them. Strafing to her side she unholstered both of her blasters and fired repeatedly in hopes one of them hitting her target.

After sending the rockets towards Lidia, Davan had ducked downunder the plumes of smoke. This tactic worked as the blast that came from the bounty hunters blaster went over his head. The smoke cleared enough for Davan to see the sucess of his rockets, two missed there target by miles but the other rocket hit the bounty hunter square one.

He didn;t want to give Lidia a chance to recover so after the rocket had hit its target Davan pulled his second blaster out of its holster and repeatedly fired at his foe hoping to deal as much damage as possible before anything came his way.

Ability used: Barrage

As the rocket impacted upon her plates, she was thrown back by the explosion and skidded several feet. Turning her self over on her side she struggled to lift herself off the ground. Just then she noticed her opponent taking aim at her and lifting her arm towards him she fired the hidden electro dart in her gauntlet.

Davan saw a small object heading but it was too late for him to do anything to avoid it. The dart hit him on the left shoulder and instantly sent a charge through his body making him drop the blaster in his left hand, the opposite happened to his right hand as his grab tightened around the blaster sending a blot into the floor. Davan than fell to his knees exposed to an attack, he hoped to regain mobility quickly.

Blaster bolts singed the air around Lidia as her dart flew true catching her opponent in the shoulder. As he convulsed on his knees, she managed to pull herself together. Running a diagnostic of her suits system, she reactivated its targeting acquisition system. A feint blue glow could be seen from within the visor of her helmet as the targeting system activated.

Ability: Enhanced targeting

Davan regained control of himself and wasn't going to let that happen again. He decided it was time for a change in tactics as the his previous ideas had brought no sucess. He saw Lidia standing there and begun to charge closing the gap at speed. In an instance he was there and without thinking lifted his right leg between Lidia's legs, although it wouldn;t have the effect on others he had faced in the arena there was enough power behind it to cause pain.

Ability used: Groin Kick

As Davan closed the distance between them Lidia planted her feet firmly and took aim with both her blasters. It was clear her opponent intended to make this a close quarters fight and she intended to welcome him warmly with a plethora of blaster bolts.

The shots from Lidia had hit him on the chest plate, he was suffering from severe pain due to them but knew if he let up he would lose this fight. After managing to land with his kick the advantage was to him, sadly for Davan his oppoent was well armoured so he couldn't attack at close combat as he normally would, he had to aim for the weak parts of the armour, this was going to hurt him too...

Well that didn't work well. Davan's hands were causing him great pain after that, and it didn't seem to do much damage to his oppoent. Lidia was now recovering from the strike before so staying at close quarters wouldn't be good for Davan.

He started to run backwards, trying to create as much distance as possible between the two of them. To keep Lidia at bay for a while he fired his blaster at her.

Ability used: Standard attack

As the first of the bolts from her blasters caught Davan in the chest, the momentum from his kick carried through catching her surprisingly in the crotch of all places. Not having the same effect as it did on Davan's other opponents, it gave Davan just enough time to recover and press the assualt. With a flurry of punches Lidia was pressed back unable to find any gaps in her opponents defenses. The punches hadn't been all that effective due to the heavy armor plates Lidia wore. As her opponent reeled back she again lifted her gauntleted fist towards him, firing a hidden dart.

Davan joy that he had hit his target was quickly destroyed when he felt something pierce his leg. In a instance the volts from the newest electric dart shot through his body. The effect this time wasn't quite the same and he could stay upright, though he was unable to move until the volts stopped... at least he hoped they would stop.

The bolts from Davans blasters dissipated on Lidia's armor plates leaving dark scorch marks in their wake. Her adrenaline pumping she saw her dart had flown true and had immobilized her opponent. Racing across the arena she closed the distance between herself and Davan quickly and before he knew it she was upon him. Grasping her blaster tightly in her armored fist she swung putting all her momentum behind it hoping to hit her target with the butt of her blaster.

Ability: Powerblaster/Critical Strike

Davan had recovered just in time to rise his arm and block the blaster coming down on him. He noticed that he didn't feel any pain by doing this, either Lidia hadn't tried to hit him very hard or the electric shocks had ruined any sense of pain for a while. He was certain it was the latter as Lidia wouldn;t be in the fight if she wasn't trying to hit him hard.

With the chance of feeling pain himself low and the inability to use his blaster at such close range he was again went for strikes to the lightly armoured areas of Lidia's body. This time he could hit as hard as possible with the element of pain removed, though he knew once he regained feeling it would feel like all his knuckles had splintered and cracked.
