As for the footage, I'm not going to go into some huge Star Wars Fanboy crazy post. I'll just say one thing... Brilliant. Utter and pure frigging brilliance. Nothing else than that.

I am wondering why the Sith Warrior had a Republic symbol on his HUD however. Does that mean we'll have classes on both sides or what, despite the fact that the devs said there won't be? I guess that could just mean the faction of what person you are targeting. When the Sith Warrior was fighting those slugs, it showed a picture of the slug in the spot where the Republic symbol was when the Sith Warrior was fighting the Republic forces. So, I guess it's the allegiance image.

No, you didn't mess up. It's alright, but usually we post them as the Update and then have the date, but if it is an important thread I guess you could have a hyphen and then something like "SW:TOR Gameplay Footage". I just forgot to get rid of my first sentence when I posted it on here. My bad.

It wasn't about that, Owen. It was more the fact that Phyrex posted this in Open Discussion the first time, instead of in the SW:TOR Updates section. It's all good now.

Yep looked very good indeed, loved how the melee weapons clashed and cover system for smuggler look nice.

So looking at this when they are fighting all over the ship the only real life people there will be you and whoever you are with? so you won;t have random people just walking round the ship who haven't got as far as you yet?

Happy about the 'death from above' move too, almost makes me want to be a bounty hunter

from what i saw from the vids this game looks amazing and i dont know how ill last till the release of TOR

Only problem I had was the fact that a lot of the gameplay hype was already used up in the last Developer dispatch and the fact that they didn't go into detail and in-depth with the Trooper class at all. I'm thinking of maybe being a Trooper for two reasons.

One, the fact that Bounty Hunter has only been seen using Pistols, and I want to be able to use Blaster Rifles as well as Blaster Pistols.

Two, the fact that I haven't seen Bounty Hunter use a vibrosword at all, which is something I want my character to have. When I play MMOs and RPGs, I want to be able to switch between long range and close quarters, and actually use a sword, and not just a flamethrower. That shouldn't count as the Bounty Hunter's close combat weapon. Seems stupid.

Though... My Smuggler will be talking in Twi'lekish (or however it's called) so it'll sound a bit weird... Hopefully intimidating for my character!

I suppose we'll be able to choose between some samples... At least that would have been cool!
