8/14/09 Update

Not really an update lol me goes to sleep until proper info is released

If they don't release some new stuff soon people will start losing interest in the game. And thats not good for bioware.

well as it was a fan 'we couldn;t be arsed with anything else' friday next week should be a proper update, probably a new entry in the timeline

Ah, another waste of update, but that is to be expected. Just wait a week or two and you'll probably be getting the gameplay demo footage.

Well, I'd expect it to be more than just "a little video". I would be thinking around 10 minutes or more of gameplay. That's what will be shown at PAX and stuff, and the Devs said they'd be releasing it on the SW:TOR site.

I don't think that BioWare will be letting anyone actually play the demo yet. From what I know, it will be a 10 minute video of a mission between a Sith Lord and a Bounty Hunter who go in and "reprimand" a Sith Captain who failed to obey an order. It won't be playable, just a video showing the mission, and yes, as you said, some players running around like what they do on WoW. But, it will be much better looking than WoW and higher quality.

Look at the last line. Unless I'm very mistaken, that in an official announcement that the gameplay footage is coming out next week. I sure am looking forward to it.
