Your Star Wars story

Heres your chance to show you are the best story teller or that you know your fellow members the best! Once all stories have been sent to me I will publish them here and then you shall PM me with who you think wrote each story, following that we will also have a vote for the three best stories (Where there may be prizes, i will work on that).

Below there are three Titles for stories, these are only outlines with little detail because that is to be left up to you and where you want to get your story. You may write as many stories as you want but I will only choose one for each title for example if you write a story for Titles (1),(2) & (3) all will be published but if you write several stories using just title (2) only one will be published.

So here are the Titles/Outlines:

(1)Prisoner Transfer – A fellow criminal has been taken prisoner by the republic, you discover when he will be transferred from his holding cell on Coruscant, you and your team come up with a plan to get him back.

(2)The eye of the bounty – A bounty has been placed on your head after you annoyed a Hutt, your trapped on Nar Shaddaa and the net is closing in, will you try to find a way to escape or will you hunt those hunting you?

(3)Centre of nowhere – Your ship was attacked by raiders and left badly damaged, you just manage to get away before boarding but you are left with little power and out of reach of any civilization, will it all end here with only your thoughts to keep you company or will some miracle save you?

You may use your own title (because you will probably think of better ones than me) but please make sure the title of (1),(2) or (3) is visible at the top of your piece.

Your story should be between 1000 - 3000 words, any problem with this please email me incase you don;t have time to write that much or you have got carried away.

How here is the important part:

DO NOT post your story on here, please PM them to me, once everyone who shows an interest has entered or I believe we have enough entries I will publish them here or on a new thread. Following that you will then PM me who you think wrote each story again DO NOT post that on the thread as you won't mention your own stories and will be obvious to everyone who wrote it When that part is done I will start a poll to see who we think has the best story (Gold, Silver and Bronze awards).

So a quick run through:
(1) Write your stories as many as you want but remember only one will be published per title
(2) Send the stories to me via PM (One at a time or all at once its up to you)
(3) Once all have entered I will publish the Stories here or in a new thread
(4) You will send me a message via PM who you believe wrote each story
(5) Results of "Who knows their fellow members the best" will be revealed
(6) A poll will start to vote for the best stories

So there you go, sorry for the long post, I hope you all enjoy taking part and if you have any questions post post here or PM me and will be happy to answer, finally remember not to discuss in this thread which title you have chosen or ideas for your story.

Right I have decided on a cut off date, it will be 31st August, this is so everyone has plenty of time to write their stories and send them in.

Also an update on prizes, this will be quite likely so if you enter a story or are planning to please send me a PM with your fav star wars movie character.

Ah man. I had a story from way back ready, and I'd have to use the first chapter. Just checked chapter one, and it's 3100 words. Damn
Still, I would have had to add the Prologue, so you know what's going on, and that would be 3,700 words. The whole story at the moment is 10,540 words, and it's not even a quarter way finished. About 30 pages

First chapter is fine if you want, story doesn't have to be complete, you can use chapter two for the next one

BUT.... two and a half weeks until the deadline people, put those finishing touches on your stories or start writing one i look forward to receiving them

nope deadline passed and not enough stories so this failed this time around

problem with holiday periods is that people then go away on trips I will have a look at it again in a couple of months
