Deceived Cinematic Trailer

I don't care about using bad language here. HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I JUST CREAMED MYSELF!!!! That... was... INCREDIBLE! There are no words to describe how frigging awesome that trailer was. Shows how badass the Bounty Hunter is, eh? God, TOR's reputation is now up by 100%!
I recognise the guy's voice who is speaking throughout the trailer. I'm sure I've heard him before, just can't picture it.
Also wanted to add that the Sith Lord in the ship, at 1:45, had a mask that looked incredibly like Darth Revan's. Don't tell me he's gone back to the dark side again and preserved his life
Or maybe they are just Revan inspired masks, as I saw more than one wearing them.

WOW! That was amazing... I felt like I was watching a really bad-ass movie.

Looks awsome, just the kind of thing that gets people attention. The only thing I'm worried about is that this may cause most players to go Sith side, since this makes the Republic look weak and defeated. I just hope they release another trailer showing how the Republic is fighting back.
But like Torgal said, we should profit from this conflict. I'm sure the Republic will pay a lot in order to get support.

Well, the Sith had more actual Sith, and less soldiers. The Republic had a lot more of their soldiers than Jedi. And the Jedi Leader, who actually resembles me (Mainly with the hair), seemed to be kicking ass. He killed a bunch of Sith and Sith soldiers with ease.

We never saw the Bounty Hunter die, and I'm sure that there were more than one surviving Sith. All it would take then is to fire a rocket at him and the Sith occupation is gone. I know they had ships attacking, but we didn't see any more soldiers.
I wonder which Sith he was? Maybe Lord Angral, or maybe just some random Sith Lord.

Everyone I talk to sais that is is Lord Angral. I dont know where they got that information though.

They were probably just putting 2 and 2 together. In the comics, Angral went to Coruscant, and so they must have thought it would be Angral, at Coruscant, who led the attack in the video. However, Angral went to eliminate the Supreme Chancellor, not the Jedi Order, so therefore it could not have been him.
We don't even know if Angral would be in the game, and not just a comics. Man, people like to think a lot, don't they?

I think they showed the T3 droid as a companion, meaning that you'll be able to get droid companions, not just humanoid companions.

They better have droid companions.... I'll be getting myself one!

But droids aren't as flexible as other companions. I'd rather have a human or Zabrak or Trandoshan at my side. They think for themselves, and would be much better in a fight, compared to an Astromech Droid. Maybe an Assassin Droid would be different.

Now that you mention the demo, I've started to wonder when the Beta will be :?:

I'm thinking it would have to be in the next two to four months. Well, at least the closed Beta. It really depends on when the release date will be. You can't have Beta testing too close to the release. I don't know if I want to be a Beta tester. It might spoil all the surprises and fun that you will experience when you buy the game.

In the holidays? I don't know man, it doesn't seem right. I mean, TOR has been in production for like... five years now, I think. I'm sure that they have finished the Alpha, and could be even starting the closed Beta soon. Who knows though?

They might have done the voice acting already. And remember, this is Star Wars. All you have to do for the aliens is make a bunch of noises

I agree. The TOR Cinematic Trailer will NEVER be able to die down. I've watched it so many times, I've lost count. I'd rather have a gameplay video next, but hell, I wouldn't mind another of these trailers, especially if they delved into the world of crime. I want to see more Bounty Hunter and Smuggler action.

Yeah the trailer is damn epic. The next one should show more of the non-force using classes though.

Just wanted to post this, for those who haven't seen yet. Sean Dahlberg made a post on the SW:TOR forums today, and it goes as follows.

"Since E3, there has been a lot of talk in the community about the public viewing of The Old Republic gameplay demo. We understand that everyone is anxious to see it and we are working on a plan to share the demo with you. However, it will be several weeks before we can give out specific details on when and where it will be available for the community.

So yeah, be ready for it... in a month of two.
