Trooper Progression Video!

Yes, that's right, this week on SW:TOR Bioware released a video showing some examples of progression for the Troopers two Advanced Classes: The Vanguard and the Commando.

I must say, I rather enjoyed seeing the two different AC's in action, as well as some examples of armour for both classes. The Commando, to me, looks absolutely ace, but the winner of the show was definitely the move that the Vanguard uses on the Sith Inquisitor at the very end. Veerrrrrrry niiiiiiiiicceee.

Great video. I much preferred the highest tier Commando armour and the third tier Vanguard armour to the highest tier Vanguard armour. I don't know, I just didn't like the look of the cape, helmet and spike on the top of the helmet. The third tier Vanguard armour looked bloody sweet, as well as his FG42 design based rifle. I know there's going to be more different looking armour sets, but I have big aesthetic tastes, and I just need the perfect looking helmet otherwise I'm not satisfied.

It actually cast the Commando in a much better light than had been done previously. So much so that I am considering switching my AC choice to Commando. Blaster cannons up to this point didn't seem great aesthetically, but then I saw the one that was used to wipe out the room full of droids and that generator. It looked damn fine, and SOUNDED lovely (I don't normally worry about sound, of all things, but that gun in a state of constant firing lets out such a sweet melody of bullets). It does mean that my character is going to have to go with the muscly build now, I can't see the 'average' or 'thin' builds being able to lug around such a massive piece of equipment with much efficiency.
