DC Universe: Online, Anyone getting it?

Iv been interested in DC universe for awhile now and I think it will be a good distraction while I wait for TOR. Plus I love DC and superheros so I think ill probably pick it up soon. Anyone else thinking of getting it?

The cinematic trailer was pretty cool but no I don't think I'll be getting it... Maybe if a BUNCH of other people do but still...eh... It just doesn't seem all that interesting to me... I dunno

I don't think I'll be getting it, as violet said the cinematic was nice. But, it just kind of looks like a Crackdown MMO, plus it's really being geared more towards the ps3 it seems rather then the PC. I don't have a PS3 .

Not for me, I haven't been playing any MMO's for almost two years now. I'm just waiting for TOR.

I want to get it, but I'm gonna wait to see how big it gets because I don't want to shell out money per month for a game nobody else plays (if you can't tell I'm not a hardcore mmo'er I like playing with other people only). But what (Excuse my language for this next part but i'm really pissed off) fucking dipshit decided to allow PC buyers spend a 200 $ lifetime fee but PS3 users have to spend 15 $ a month, PERIOD! The game is supposed to be more geared towards PS3 users but yet we don't get that oppurtunity. After the years of console wars between Xbox and PS3, the PS3 users finally get something in our favor (or so we thought). Imagine how excited I was when I heard "First ever MMO to hit consoles is only on PS3" but then I find out PC users get to pay less (mathamatically)

Most successful mmos don't have a lifetime payment option. ST:O did this to, and after release thats really the last I've heard of it. Not to mention that great track record SOE has, sarcasm. It sounds like there trying to cash in on the pc part of the game, possibly because it's numbers will plummet after release, while the PS3 might maintain it's numbers for a longer period of time. Though there is a year membership option on the ps3. Either way, I don't have any faith in SOE.

I really want to try it, but sadly there is no trial (that I am aware of). I'd really consider getting it, but I have two worries:

1) It may not run well on my computer (and I do not trust system specs)

2) It is divided between PC and PS3. Most MMO's I know of that have launched on consoles as well as PC have not done well (Here's looking at the Final Fantasy MMO's, Age of Conan (Age of conan was due for an Xbox 360 release but I'm not sure if it ever happened))

I was going to try it, but I saw that you need to pay $40 or so first before you can start your subscription and then pay for your first month (don't know if you get a free month with the $40 ? ) which would add up to $50-60 for just 1month =/

As MMO standard, you do get a free month. Still, I wish there were a free trial.

Yeah me to, I'd like to check out an MMO first before I subscribe .

So has anyone picked this up yet? If you have what are your opinions.
