PC/PS3 game nights

Just felt like saying that I hate Steam. It is so damn frustrating. When I want to play Black Ops, I want to play it instantly, not have to wait for Steam to load up, then update at annoying occasions, then wait for me to connect and put my password in, and then sometimes update my games. I just want to play. The end.

I just felt like saying I've never had to wait to play an already installed game on steam I only own 30ish games so maybe some games I don't own work differently but so far I've never had to wait for an update and this loading thing you talk about seem very mysterious to me O.o

I;m assuming Typho doesn't have steam on auto start up when he turns on his computer. So when ever he starts up steam, if it isn't daily. Theres most likely an update for one of his games. And if steam didn't update your game you'd have to do it manually, which would take longer then steam doing it.

Seeing as there's currently only two games I use Steam for, it doesn't seem right to have Steam launch when my computer starts up. I don't know what it is, but it's just frustrating. It freezes, takes ages to load, and just messes up. I'm fine with people using Steam for games, I just don't want it to be necessary for the game to be run through Steam, like Black Ops or Dawn of War II. I just would prefer to play them separately.

so ill probably pick up a copy of L4D2 in the next day so i should be good to go soon

Sadly not since I have an exam tomorrow morning I'll be up for it in the weekend though

Exam on a saturday? Now that is harsh! In London tomorrow then got to do an essay on Sunday so can't play L4D2 then maybe next weekend.

CRUEL FATE!!!!! hmm well we ain't going no where so be worth the wait I'll prob be on next couple of days doing uni work during day and playing L4D2 at night...oh what a rogue i am xD any way peeps if I'm online hopefully should be up for game

Well a great evening yesterday playing L4D2 with Violet and Doc, very entertaining.

Alas, the doc does not speak how he types... you should try it sometime.

For those on steam that I am not friends with, firstly add DemonDave, and second join our shiny new group 'Galactic Trade Commission'. It really did take me hours to come up with the name.

If you want, we could record some gameplay and throw it up on our youtube channel. Just to add some more content and what not.

Im trying to get L4D2 but the biggest snow storm that has hit London in 30 years (so the news says) cant get the game but its making for some kick ass 4-weeling.

I've recently bought BFBC 2 on steam, so that's on my list of things I can play with other people now to.

Oh! I'll be playing that bought it myself on steam too recently : tis a good game should be worth a laugh or two . Fully constructable terrain hmmmm enough said....
