PC/PS3 game nights

Its been a bit quiet lately and I figure even if there is not much SWTOR news we could still gmae and such. Any PC games anyone has maybe we can play. If enough people have a certain game id buy it to play. I also know there are a few PS3 gamers here so we could do that too. I played Red dead redemption with Davan or Darc (bulletfury) a little while ago.

Now that school is finished for this year, and I'm off for more than two months enjoying the sunny summer of Australia, I'll be able to game any time, any day. Only on PC, though. I detest the Xbox 360 and PS3. Unfortunately though, lately I've been a little short of spare money, so there won't be many multiplayer games that I own that have come out recently.

The only multiplayer games I'm currently playing are:
League of Legends (free! )
Counter Strike Source (when I'm bored )

I'm considering buying L4D2 though... Which coincidentally is super cheap if you buy a bunch of copies on steam 19.99 for 1 and 24.99 for 6 so if people are interested we could totally split the costs for that

You might have been Davan, you sounded tired. It was right after the game came out. We went up to the forest and killed bears as well as each other.

BUY L4D and/or 2 their both good, peeps is worth it and if your on steam bbiiiggg deals on this week. then again I'm bias its a fun game worth plenty of laughs too well I'm on seam ....with the amazingly original profile id as dr_mandrayk...though don't be confused my nickname which acts as my in game id is Mr_Belvedere....any way i digest I got a few games i can play

thats all my multi-player games any way I can fit some gaming nights here and then in between uni work after all should be all done plus something to look forward to

ps who's got head sets after all we should get chatting while we do this should be fun

As you all know, I have a very nice headset designed for gaming, so no worries there.

Well, I could join you guys on PC. I have a functioning headset, my only problem is a lack of recent games.

The games I could play multi-player on are:

Counter Strike: Source

Battlefield 2142

Rome Total War (I have medieval 2 and empire also but I don't think my machine could handle multiplayer for those)

and thats really it. Though if we all decided on a PC game to play together I would have no qualms with going out and buying it to join in (like L4D, Team fortress etc)

I would be willing to buy L4D2 if enough people are up for it, but I don't have a headset

Well I just bought L4D2 on steam for $5 USD. Considering it would have taken me more then five dollars to buy the DLC for the 360 version I own. It was a great deal.

I just bought the Orange Box on Steam for £4.25 (frikkin BARGAIN!), so Team Fortress 2 is now on the cards for me should anyone else fancy playing it.

im gonna see bout downloading it tonight so im not sure how long it will take. Iv never downloaded anything from steam before

I usually max-out at 1.4MB/s from steam so it's pretty fast.

Depends on internet speed i find mines not great but fairly descent rate some time hits 500kb xD sometime higher if its a good day just my computer i guess. Also yes MORE L4D 2 peeps its be lots of fun playing with Violet ((warning she KILLS EVERYTHING if she gets melee weapon O.O)) and so should be even more fun with everyone getting involved too, be it L4D 2 or TF2 or what ever

Make sure you go into your settings and make sure a server near you is selected, one time mine was a California one and was only maxing around 1mbps, but changed it to the Arizona one and now max out at around 2.5mbps.

im having a problem setting up paypal, do you need to have a credit card cause i wanna use debit. It says i need a credit card as well.

Well if you don't have a credit card it's probably a lot easier for you to just buy a store copy

You can use a debit card for it in the UK Rasper so should think that will be ok in Canada too!

Well we can start the group up now easily enough if its ok with the Vigo's their trade mark and all plus we should write a a GTC bio for the group page good opportunity for advertising maybe, we can put up links to website, videos etc? who knows might get noticed by the role players and get some recruits
