Introduction to Teran

Note: Not set in this world, I haven’t made up a name yet, and none of the names are confirmed.

The land of Teran was made by seven powerful beings. The origins of these beings are unknown to all except themselves. The seven beings put forth the beginning of this world, all of them selflessly used their life energies to forge the world. Soon they created a very raw and untamed Teran. But there physical bodies were destroyed in the process, but there spiritual form lives on, not like a ghost, more like a god. They left behind something right before their physical forms died. What they left were us, their worst and greatest creations.
The Elf
The being Telsa is the maker of the Elf race. The elf race is very diverse, due to their rapid evolution. Most Elves are immortal, but some are born to live just a long life.
Tallian Elf
It is believed by most of the Elf race that the Tallian Elf Race is the most evolved and resemble closely to their creator Telsa. Tallian Elves are tall, about 6 feet is the minimum height of an adult female and male, and there tall stature is matched with a skinny body. They are one of the most feared and honored races in Teran, due to amazing battle skills and mastery of magic. There capital lies east of the central mountains right before the swamps begin.
Wood Elf
The wood elf is almost the opposite of the other elf breeds. There appearance hasn’t evolved much, luckily their brains have. They the smallest of the elf breeds, about 4-5 feet is the average height of an adult. Most races look down to the wood elves as barbarians for their looks and ways of combat. Wood Elf warriors dress in loin cloths and thick uncured animal hides on the body. They may act like this for they are ruled by a tree lord, ancient tree who have evolved with the help of magic to become a super smart moving tree. The wood elf lands are often in civil war, tree lords have their armies of wood elves and fight for control over the forest.
Dark Elf
The Dark Elf breed once caused fear into all of Teran. They look about the same as the Tallian elf except for their dark green and black skin. Most have tattoos of strange symbols that cover their bodies. They once conquered half of Teran’s mainland. Dark Elves used sorcery as their source of power but this eventually lead to their downfall. They unleashed an ancient race called the Shadi. The shadi quickly crumbled the Dark Elf empire. The shadi remain in the dense woods of Black Wood. The few dark elves that remained hid in the orc lands. They remain there now as they plan to retake the homeland of Black Wood.
Plains Elf
The plains elf are almost completely detached from the elf race. They prefer to live with the humans or the foothills of the central mountains. They are very close looking to a human except for some facial features and there slightly pointed ears. They have been a long standing ally of the humans of the north.
