TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF... *
Well I have been as long time fan of MORPG and star wars. I’m a committed player who’s looking for a serious and committed group. I’m a good person to know, I get along well with people and I can be funny when appropriate and can act professionally when needed. To tell the truth this is the first ever forum/guild I’ve applied to and so I’m looking to make good impression and looking forward to the experience.
WHAT PREVIOUS MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE ROLEPLAYING GAMES HAVE YOU PLAYED?
(( If you don’t know what tribal wars is it’s a MMORPG were player are given control of a village and you have to build up defences and armies to capture other villages , and tribes are basically in game guilds))
I’ve played run escape for a couple of year with a friend and also tribal wars. In tribal wars I started a small-scale “spy” network as one player called it. I had players (only three), who I trusted, who join other tribes and then leak information to me via in game mail. Then I would contact other tribes and sell(currency is resources, clay, iron and wood) this information to the highest bidder and split the profit. This was mostly used by tribes when they were at war with each other, we’d keep below the radar and players would pay for information on each other, it was a little long winded but it worked and I made a good profit. Also if any one did find out I was running it I would have been attack by pretty much every one I’d sold secrets to so I created a fictional alias, e.g. I always insisted I was receiving instructions from the “boss” and that I just collected and sold information as part of the system so his identity could remain secret. This let me lead a very comfortable middleman life were I could monitor and control the group and the profit, with out fear of discovery. Sadly after a while I had to stop playing as my members had other commitments and wanted to do their own thing in the game, and I couldn’t find any other committed players. I hope this shows what kind of character I am and my level of commitment. Also if it’s useful for any reference I also worked as a forum moderator for a tribe as well. Know though I’m more interested in more serious MMORPG’s, I though I’d get WoW for a while but when in found out this was coming out, I made my choice(it was easy) and hope there will be a place for me in the GTC.
DO YOU ROLEPLAY?
I’ve never given it a try but from what I’ve seen it adds more depth to the gaming experience and make it more enjoyable, so I’ll give it a go
WHAT CLASS DO YOU HOPE TO PLAY WHEN SW:TOR IS RELEASED?
I don’t want to tie myself to a class as not all of them have been released yet, but if pressed at the moment I’d probably be a bounty hunter( but one that doesn’t bring in a lot of bounties in alive). My character will explain better
DO YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON YOUR CHARACTER YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE? *
Well I’ve been working on this for a while and it not quite there yet, but here is a smaller break down about my character:
My character going to be a Shi’’ido , a shape shifter and his name will be( or he’ll be known as) Lucien Mandrake. This will be his closely guarded secret and ultimate weapon (and justifies if I want to be more than one class and or race). However I’ve made him 30-40 years old as at this age the Shi’’ido species are limited to shape shifting into humanoid forms and will give more depth to he character and will stop things getting over complicated. Also this race is known for being telepathic, to a point, they can suggest things into the mind of other so they can blend in easily, however due to the danger of using it, as it requires great consecration my character, will have limited telepathic abilities. Due to the mistrust and reputation of shape shifters my character will remain in a human form as to not arouse suspicion, though in the spirit of role play his true identity and origins may be revelled during some significant event. Because of my character background he will be a strange, withdrawn, sinister and mysterious figure who is well trained in the areas of spying and assassination and so will have significant knowledge in these areas. Information will be one of his key characteristics and so if anyone one in role play needs information, my character can help you out. (If its ok I’ll give a fuller account in the background forum when it’s complete)
HOW DID YOU LEARNED ABOUT GALACTIC TRADE COMMISSION?
Through SWTOR website in the sith guild recruitment section was using a different name at the time, “Mr Sandman”. I’m still on and keeping in touch on the forums. And your advertisement in SWTOR caught my attention from the start and after I check out this website I was sold on the idea and here I am trying to join. And i got some good input from the forum guys too.
FINALLY, WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR FROM A GUILD? *
I looking to find a mature and committed group who will enjoy the joint gaming experience on all levels and also can enjoy a laugh when appropriate. And will enjoy the pursuit of wealth and power within the game.
