Best Star Wars Games

I dont think this one needs a poll because one answer (KOTOR) would probably dominate... Instead I want you to list the best 5 star wars video games in your opinion. I will go first.

1. KOTOR 1

2. Shadows of the Empire (this is actually really close to #1 for me, but KOTOR barely beats it.)

3. KOTOR 2

4. Jedi Outcast

5. Rogue Squadron (the original one, not the crap sequels)

Notable contenders: Empire at War, Dark Forces II

1. KotOR 2 (Seemed cooler than KotOR. A lot darker)

2. KotOR

3. Battlefront 2 (Good fun)

4. Empire at War (And Forces of Corruption)

5. TOR (It gets an automatic vote )

1&2. KotOR I&II (together on the top)

3. Jedi Outcast

4. Battlefront I&II

5. Note sure...

Whats was so great about Battlefront? I played both of them, and they were pretty decent but not up there in the best in my opinion.

Also, have none of you played Shadows of the Empire or did you just not like it? I think I might be biased though as Rogue Squadron and SotE were my first Star Wars games (and some of my first ever).

Cant really say more since Ive never played Empire at War or Kotor 2, and I didn't really like Battlefront 2.

Just so you know, I thought Empire at War was a WAY better RTS game than Galactic Battlegrounds... theres space battles in it too.

Any game has land based conflicts, but when you fly around in a ship, or control an Armada and blow up countless enemies, now THAT'S Star Wars. Just look at the name. Star Wars. Not Ground Wars. Not Land Wars. Star Wars.

Honestly... I didn't like Force Unleashed at all. The gameplay was boring and I actually stoped playing after I got about 2/3 through the game.

It wasn't taht of a great game indeed

I've never played force unleashed, but I'll bet anything its just Jedi Outcast with better graphics, more insane moves, and a crap story.

Thats exactly what is it....

Outcast had the best lightsaber combat system in a Star Wars game and I thought it was tons better than Unleahsed's.

You shouldn't be able to bring down a starship with the force... Sure the graphics are great and it has a nice engine, but if the rest of the game isn't very good then it makes no difference.

Well, if Yoda can lift up a fighter, then why can't Vader's Apprentice lift up a Capital Cruiser. We're talking about the Force here. Anything's possible, as long as it is made by something that has "Lucas" in its name

Did you really think that Academy was better than Outcast? Outcast was the much better game in my opinion.

Well, single player Outcast was much better indeed.
But I said Academy because of the multiplayer options .

Ah well you're right... the multiplayer on Academy was pretty good.

yeah and the JA+ mod for it was pretty good aswell .

I'll agree with that. The single player story in Jedi Outcast was much better, but multiplayer in Academy was more interesting.

I've never played either of those games. Didn't really seem like my kind of Star Wars era. I'm not that into all the stuff past Return of the Jedi.

I second this. Mostly Return of the Jedi is the furthest I go .
I like the republic era more tbh
