5/15/09 Timeline Update

I still think that this timeline thing is a great idea and thought this one was pretty good.

Man, they look a long enough time to get it out. This morning, when I woke up, I said to myself, "I bet you that they'll give us a Timeline out this week". After a big hype of the Trooper, they'll never put out something as big or even bigger.

After seeing this, I reckon that therew will definitely be smugglers in the game. It was another good timeline, and as it had stuff about Mandalorians in it, it was even better

Only problem was that around 4/5 of the way in, the smaller Republic ships look a lot like the Clone LAAT Gunships. That was a big minus for me. BioWare needs to be original.

The cliffhanger at the end was also great.

I thought it was very interesting, especially the ending. It is strange though that their telling history backwards, starting at the treaty and moving back in years.

I really liked this timeline update...

I agree, that was the one thing I didnt like. It seems like that they should start earlier in history and then as the game gets closer to release move forward on the timeline as well.

I reckon they did it so they could have a little difference from the rest of the timeline. There's no real explanation for what goes on in their minds, and why they do things, but I guess we just better put our faith in them.

Well, they did state that the Mando blockade was of a deeper, more mysterious reason, and so they might have not just been working for the Sith. Maybe the Mandalorian Soldier/Warrior will be the counter-part for the Republic Trooper, which makes sense to me, although it would seem more proper to have a Sith Trooper/Soldier for their faction, and not paid mercs.

Well, maybe not playable, but did they say no Mandos at all? They could still be NPCs, even if they don't play a prominent role.

Yeah, I don't remember that either. Then again, I don't bother fully reading some of the blogs. They get too boring
