I agree with Torkin, the threat of peace is a nice way of filling us in on the story, but the dev blog is really dull.

You know what I just picked up on. The fact that despite what the Devs have been saying, in the comic, the Republic hired a Bounty Hunter! Come on, they need to make up their damn minds! Although the comic might have nothing to do with the game, they need to get all their facts right!

They certainly do... conflicting information is never a good thing.

Actually, this comic is set some time before the game, and the Republic officers did say it was a bad idea to hire a bounty hunter.
This may be a way of explaining why the Republic chose to stop hiring bounty hunters; they were hard to control and were a threat to the peace!

Yeah, you're probably right. But I find it hard to think that a single mess up with a Bounty Hunter would cause a ban on using Bounty Hunters in the Republic.

Wasn't worth it, if you ask me.
Don't give us an update one week, and the next only this. They should have had something bigger, even if it was a Dev Blog on the production of the game, not just a planet.
