31/12/2010 Update: Cinimatic design

Ok so this fridays update is an article about cut scenes in SWTOR, I havent gotten a chance to read it all since its very long but it looks really interesting as it explains about what goes into these cut scenes and how it will help keep a story going and interesting since its an experience and not just a point click read some text then go do a quest thing.

Cinematic Design

Aye, it was a nice read to learn about the sweet cinematic experience that we're going to enjoy with SW:TOR. It seems that it will help immerse the player into the game a lot easier than other MMOs which just make use of scrolling chat. On another note, the two videos that the article featured were fun to watch as well. I don't know if it's just me, but the graphics looked even better in the two videos than in previous updates.

Maybe it's the lighting effects that's improved? Because they look really good ^_^
I like cut scenes... unless it's in Eternal Sonata where every one of them is 10 minutes or more And you have to watch them... 'cus there's no quest log... But then again I usually read the full quest text in MMORPGs anyways...

Good read, good update and I want the game naow!

I think it has improved significantly since the days of the (kill the captain demo)

If this doesn't set a new standard for MMO's, I don't know what else will.
