Game Testing is Underway

Truth be told I don't want in the beta, I just want the finished product, I'm just not into bug hunting. If they offer an open beta a few weeks before release for reserving the game or something then I'll jump in. Games are finshed by then.

I'm probably the only one here that will say that.

How can you say you hate them because you haven't gotten into the Game Testing as of yet? They won't be choosing every single person who signs up for it, and they'll likely check the activity of people before they select them, as it wouldn't be smart if they pick someone to go into the Game Testing who hasn't been on in months, or who hasn't really made much contribution at all to posting and the like. It's not too late, anyway. They said they'll be doing it in stages, and without a doubt they'll choose more people eventually.

You're not the only one here, I have to say. I'm not that fussed about Game Testing or being in the Beta either, mainly for the reasons you've stated, and also I don't want to find any spoilers before I play the game with my main character. Besides, too many people don't care about actually giving reports or details to the Developers; to them, it's just a chance to play the game earlier than most people,. which is something I detest.

I'm with Deirbhile on this one, bug huntings just not for me. I'll be there once the finished product is out.

I wouldn't mind jumping in on an "open beta" If they offer one, which is just a code word for "play the finished product before you start paying."

I strangely enough would quite like to game test, to actually help find bugs. I wouldn't mind helping contribute to a smooth game (or as smooth as possible) at launch.

But alas, that isn't going to happen til I get a new PC. *Kicks current crappy PC*

i knda would like to be in on it only thing is i think the files are massive even for the beta and i would probbly get screwed by taking to long to downlaod and the time would be up but i can still hope

Anyway actually about the game testing. I do hope I get into testing. I have only been involved in a couple of Betas before but i enjoyed the experience of finding the bugs and then send the info in. Made me feel like I had helped make the game better

Altough if I did get selected for Beta for TOR I would try to avoid playign smuggler if i could because like others I don't want spoilers on the storyline I will be focused on.
