We have Hoth

Nice little read about the newest planet Hoth

This has been confirmed by Sean on the forums as PART of tomorrows update so we are gonna get more than just a planet, these are exciting times.

Very cool to have Hoth in there. And the story of its situation certainly sounds interesting.

I love Hoth and im hopping all the classes get some very cool armor for the cold. I dont think the developers will be able to get away with giving the female exposing outfits on Hoth.

It's fitting they tell us today, as it's the 30th anniversary of when empire strikes back was released (Hoth Appeared in the movie).

My reaction to this: NOT HAPPY, JAN!

Despite what most of you are feeling about this, I can't agree with you. Hoth has always been the same, cold, snowing, and boring. It's like Tatooine. Been used too much in SW:TOR, and still constantly the same. I want to explore the Galaxy, and experience new things, not go back and revisit something that is cold, snowing, and boring. I'll probably get set on fire by the rest of, but that's how I'm feeling. Could have done something a bit more exciting, BioWare.

Well if they do set you on fire at least now you can roll in the snow on Hoth

I gotta agree with Typho on this one. Its nice their adding planets we're farmiliar with, but now its getting a bit too much. I never really liked Hoth and I can't imagine it being a plane I'll spend much time on. There should be more new panets like Voss, which we haven't heard of before, and are unique.

While I agree that there should be new planets like Voss, comparing Hoth to Tatooine seems a bit far. Tatooine literally has hundreds of appearances while Hoth has signifigantly less. I do see your point though, however my opinion is that Hoth is a more interesting planet than Tatooine anyway.

HOth does have less appearances then Tatooine. Plus it doesn't look to boring, huge star ships sticking out of the ground. New types of weaponry. Compared to Tatooine seems theres more to look at then sand, and sand huts.

I wasn't merely pointing out video games, although compared to other planets, Hoth has been in quite a large number of video games. In comics and books as well, it has been featured a lot. I stand by what I say. New unseen planets that haven't been explored before are far more interesting and intriguing.

That planet is gonna be a pure big treasure-chest for Yana.

But for some realism. When it comes to armor and on an ice planet. Can we get some warm cloths that will resists agianst the cold.
I have enough looking in WoW on females wearing almost nothing in skimpy plate armor in the colds of Nothrend. It just dont make sense.

Yeah steel bikinis in the snow probably would be bad. Especially if Typho was wearing one.

Although I'm glad it's there I agree somewhat with Typho.

This planet seems to see alot of major battles for being an unimportant place.

We will be visiting it for the 37 millionth time.

But hey of course I love Empire Strikes Back I'm ok with Hoth being in.
