Name change

As some of you may have realized, I have changed my forum name. Sirax is more of a forum name I use, and anyway no-one pronounces it the way I do anyway.
With a little help from my fellow smuggler Davan Kelhur, I was able to come up with the more star wars sounding Jax Nova. This will be the name of my character in SWtOR, and I am currently in the process of writing up a back story which I will post in the cantina soon.
I know its kinda weird since I've been using the name Sirax since I joined, but seeing as almost everyone else in this guild has a two part star wars name, I was gonna have to make the change eventually. I will keep the name Sirax as kind of a codename for my character, and its still my swtor forums username.

Thats how I pronounced it, but others including Typho on one of the podcasts, pronounced it with the short 'i'.
I kinda derived the name from Osiris, so thats how I got the pronunciation. Anyway it doesn't matter that much now that I have my new name.

So are you saying that before you pronounced it basically the same as you would for "Cyrax"?

My apologies for pronouncing your former name incorrectly. As I'm an Aussie (Although I know you are too), I generally pronounce those kinds of with a short "i". For example, I pronounce Iraq as "I-rark", rather than the American way of pronouncing it. I do like your new name as well, though. Has a very Star Wars-type sound to it.
