Located below are the rules of the GTC Arena, and instructions on how to successfully fight in a battle:
1) The moderator of the GTC Arena (Or one of the Vigos if the Arena Moderator is inactive) will make a Battle thread. On this Topic only the competitors and the referee will be able to post. If someone disobeys he gets his posts deleted.
2) The referee is the "observer" of the match. He starts the Battle when he posts the word
"FIGHT". He cannot enter in the battle and he is responsible to delete the post of everyone that does that.
3) The battle begins when one of the players choose 3 numbers from 1 to 6 (for example I choose 1,3,6). The other player get the remaining number (for example 2,4,5). The referee "rolls" the dice (it's a button under the text box when you make a new post). The player who's number is picked starts first.
4) Every time a player wishes to make a standard attack, the referee must roll a dice to see if it hits. There is only a 50 - 50 percent chance of hitting (This can be otherwise depending on your character's Status/Body Type).
5) When a player chooses to use an Ability the referee "rolls the dice again". If it is a 33% Ability then the dice has the following outcomes. 1 or 2 to activate the "back-fire" abilities (for example, the Ability fails to be used or you damage yourself instead of the enemy) and 3 or 4 to activate the alternate-outcome (for example, instead of causing full damage, you only cause half damage), and finally the dice has to be 5 or 6 to be successful. If it is 50 - 50 percent chance of working, then the referee has to roll 4,5,6 to be successful.
NOTE: A player can use only one Ability per round, and once that Ability has been used, then he is no longer able to use it again for three turns (Think of it as a "Cool Down" time in an RPG) unless their Body Type of current Ability Status says otherwise.
NOTE 2: Whenever a player makes an attack, whether it is a Standard Attack or Ability, he must say that he has done at the bottom of his post. If you post saying that you have done an Ability, you must type which ability, and to make it easier for referees, post the information that comes with the ability.
6) The round ends when both the players have posted and then the referee make his results.
7) Each battle lasts until one or both parties are defeated (however, the battle will not end until both players have completed their turn that round).
