| The new Dragon Age Expansion sounds really fun supposed to add around 15 hours of gameplay. It's $30 USD on PC, and $40 USD on the consoles. - Quote :
- For centuries, the Grey Wardens-the ancient order of guardians, sworn to unite and defend the lands-have been battling the darkspawn forces. Legend spoke that slaying the Archdemon would have put an end to the darkspawn threat for centuries to come, but somehow they remain. You are the Grey Warden Commander and have been entrusted with the duty of rebuilding the order of Grey Wardens and uncovering the secrets of the darkspawn and how they managed to remain. How you choose to rebuild your order, how you resolve the conflict with "The Architect", and how you determine the fate of the darkspawn will be but some of the many complex choices that await and shape your journey as you venture to the new land of Amaranthine.

| This is brilliant. Dragon Age: Origins was the best RPG I've played in a long time, and thanks to quickly having so much DLC and now an expansion, I love it even more. Cannot wait.
I guess that also means that Alistair is the Canon choice for the ruler of Fereldan. I thought he would be.

EA, i heard, is having a tactic to stop pirating by doing DLC. I have no idea how it works but, its there decision. And its my guess they started on the expansion way before the game was released. (Here's EA theory on pirates http://kotaku.com/5421466/ea-ceo-i-think-of-pirates-as-a-marketplace )

| Isnt this the same John Riccitiello that kinda blurted out some stuf about TOR before it was announced? Anyway that theory is kinda wierd... you battle piracy by settling for the fact that you cant win and hoping that they buy the DLC? Lolz... | |

| After reading the piracy article I think that this whole idea of creating major game add on's to make people have to buy it to get the full game is just stealing in itself. Its like releasing unfinished game and making people pay even more to get the final finished product. I pirate games myslef for the sole reason of how expensive game have gotten and are getting. And doing this is in my opinion a slap in the face to the people that do faithfully buy games. The game companies are just using this ass an excuses to give people a half done game and to make them pay extra for the full thing. The add on stuff looks like fun but to pay $30 for an add on that was made before the game was even out is outrageous | |

The thing is though, is that for an expansion like awakening probably wouldn't be out for a long time if they didn't start making it before the game came out. And if they did wait for those things to be finished with the game then we would still be waiting for dragon age now. I don't pirate games because: 2. Illegal. 1. The people who actually made the game aren't getting paid for there work of art (or trash) that they spent so many sleepless nights working on.

| very true but wasent this DLC finished before the game even came out it could have easly been added to the original game but they kept it seperate and charge people for game play that the player should have had in the first place. But regardless the DLC add on still looks like good stuff to play. | |

They would have to have finished it before they started the discs, or otherwise they have to wait to get the DLC, certificate thing from EA, Microsoft, and Sony. Sony is said to take a while with there DLC certificate things so it probably wouldn't have been done with the game's release. Any how, This does look good.
