MAG The Video Game

MAG is a new game for the ps3 coming out on January 26th 20110

Here is some info on the game:

- 256 People in one game!

- Each game players are divided up into three armies (Raven, Valor, and SVEC)

- Then players are divided up again into groups smaller groups. Than divided up again into platoons than finally into squads.

-Super freaky good players are going to be leaders and the noobs are going to be the foot soldiers. Which means the better you are the higher you rank and more important you are.

-The groups within each army are important to the game. He is an example scenario:
You are in Platoon A squad C, Your General (Head guy for that game) Tells your platoon to take down a base. So your platoon leader tells squad A to do demolition and take out the anti air, and Squad B to take out the tanks and other vehicles, so your squad, squad C can come with the Jets and Helicopters to take out the rest of the base. Our your General (For that game because leaders change every game(only for those who qualify)) can have the entire army march into a base with tanks and kick some ass. Or you can pull a Rambo and go rogue by yourself and kick some ass on your own. Its complete freedom.

I watched the developers play this on tv at the E3 conference. It looked pretty fun. But the graphics looked mid class, probably so it dosen't lag as much. I've heard of some beta testers saying it lags a lot. But other wise it looks awesome. Maybe I'll get a ps3 by January (Thats when it comes out right?)

I heard about it a while ago, but Im skeptical that it will be that good of a game. Between lag and people likely not cooperating together as planned lower my own expectations on it. It could well still be a cool game though, I'm just going to wait and see.
