Today was the first day of the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) in Seattle. Much like E3, PAX is known to play host to several interesting game announcements. One of those came early today when it was announced that Duke Nukem Forever will finally be released. Really, it will! I'm not kidding!

The game, which was canceled by 3D Realms was officially picked up by Gearbox and 2K Games.

WTF, I never expected them to release this game, I don't even know if I believe it. I don't even know if I care, its been so long since I played Duke Nuken 3D. Still I will keep an eye on this one.

Not a game I really care about but how often I hear people mention it when discussing games it did seem to be one of the holy grails of the gaming world. So good news for all those people, however I won;t have to put them up with moaning anymore

lol nice vid, I'm actually really looking forward to playing this once it comes out. I grew up playing Duke nukem, Quake and Unreal Tournament and since then I've been a big fan of the franchises.

Duke Nukem is so revered because
